I was looking for more info on the Hero Honda’s latest launch – ‘Hunk’ (and also see how my posts are faring on the search engine) and this is what I found. Thought I would share with you’ll.
Simply Google ‘Hero Honda Hunk Tech Specs’ and you possibly may find this, here’s a screen shot.

Funny as the coincidence may be, IMHO “Hunk” is a pretty apt name. The bike does look like a hunk.

If looks determined the name, then we could have bikes names Schwarzenegger, Stallone, etc.
The Hunk is quite simply the most awkward name given to any bike in recent times.

I agree.. Imagine some dude say “I Ride a HUNK..!!”
Still I don’t think that the name is going to be a deterrant for prospective buyers..
After all the Skoda “LAURA” still find’s place in many respectable homes..!!

YAMAHA is launching the mighty R1 in India, most probably in the 1Q of 2008.
