  2. Great Blog dude, i like the tata grande it looks gr8 and the interiors is cool.

  3. When will be tata indica dicor launched in market and what will be its price

  4. can someone pls tell me the reason why the tata xenon only delivers 85 hp in south africa and re all the info on the net it said that it delivers between 120 and 140 hp. im a proud owner of a xenon in south africe but can not understand why our xenons only delivers 85 hp.this is my first tata and im impressed with it but the only thing is the lack of power.

  5. TATA Xenon in South Africa is sold with 3.0 Dicor Engine and rest of the world it is sold with 2.2 Dicor Engine or you have choice between these two engine http://xenon.tatamotors.com/fla/

    3.0L gives 110ps and 2.2 L gives 140ps.

The reason for TATA to go with 3.0L engine for South Africa is to have good band of Low Torque, this is possible only in 3.0L and not 2.2L. I was told by some Tata motors guys, during the Auto Expo 2008, 3.0L is very good for off road driving with good low torque band then 2.2L engine.

May be TATA motors will change this motor to 2.2L even for South African Market in future based on market feedback
