Tata Motors People’s car Nano’s Official Website launched !!

Tata Nano

Just along with the car launch the company has launched the website for its Peoples car. The website can be accessed at http://www.tatapeoplescar.com/tatamotors/index.php and has all the details you need on the car. There are 3 variants on option as Standard, Deluxe and Luxury. While the engine and powertain options remain same, frills like a/c etc are the options on the trim levels. There is a also a blog, and a forum where you can discuss things related to the car. Apart from that you get to know the car much better and straight form the company. They are also running a survey on what Features would you like to see on the car. Go there if you are in contention of buying one.

  5. Hats off to the Tatas for this fatastic achievement. For sure the common man in India can have the luxury of moving around in own car.

    But I am really worried about the increase in the pollution levels by more number of cars, 24 hour traffic jams in Bangalore and for sure increase in the prices of petrolium products.

  7. I visited AutoExpo yesterday on the official launch of Tata Nano. Nano, no doubt, exceeded everyone’s expectations. It is snazzy, fuel-efficient, spacious and at the same time, fills the gap between 2-wheelers and maruti 800.

    However, the litmus test would be only when the car hits the road. Jury is still out on that one.

    Also, is someone also counting on the traffic snarl-ups that this car would contribute to? I am not being skeptical. Just that almost every second household in urban india can afford to have this car. Imagine the picture of metros in the times to come.

  14. the car shoud have been named as BHARAT , as a middle income people can think of a car , but my question to MR RATAN TATA , how long will you keep this price of one lac plustransport cost plus vat , so its a car of say 1,20,000/- . still a good price . ratan ji hope will will keep the price till you sell 1core car in one year .

  26. Bring it here to the good old USA the gas companys are going to kill us at the gas pumps.you can down size it again and put 3 wheels bring it in the usa as a motorcycle,you all ready have the indian bullet motorcycle here 500 cc and the 350 cc ITS MADE IN INDIA.?

I am working in Ethiopia for the last few years in a university under UNDP project.It is a great news for Indians that we are not less in any way in development of Science and Technology.I congratulate shri Ratan Tata for this marvellous achievement.   42. Tata Motors had really been a great help for billions of low income people for coming up with a small car with a very affordable price. I hope they will also come up with an environmentally friendly unit. I read that you are going to partner with a French company that is not only fuel efficient but also no carbon emission car.

    Hope I can learn to assemble your car and represent your company in the low income provinces in the Philippines. I am sure you have already received offers from large and rich people in the Philippines.

    But anyway, once I get enough money to invest I will definitely invest it with TTM. It’s future looks very bright and promising. If I am working with TTM I will definitely invest 80% of my income with this company. It’s primarily people- oriented and service- oriented. And that’s what makes company successful. Congrats to all the people behind TTM from top to bottom.
